Proposal Manager/Writer

D&A Communications is looking for a Marketing Proposal Writer. This crucial position develops proposals in response to RFP’s from various agencies of the local, state and federal governments. You would be responsible for tracking and researching available RFPs and maintain a good understanding of upcoming work with public agencies. You will analyze RFP/RFQs, develop customized communications scope, tailoring all materials from resumes to project descriptions to firm profiles utilizing valid go/no go processes while managing schedules and production. You will create content and checklists relevant to each proposal and ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposal requirements within established deadlines. You will develop and execute full proposal plans including theme development and compliance.

Senior Accounting Manager

In this leadership role, you will oversee and are responsible for the overall day-to-day accounting functions of the Agency which includes: applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.


In addition to processing payroll and ensuring adherence to local law compliance, the Senior Accounting Manager will make recommendations and suggestions based on current financials and advise the CEO from a business economics standpoint as well as be the direct line of reporting to the CEO.  You prepare and send out timely invoices for all client accounts and follow up as needed for timely payment. As part of the Leadership Team, you will provide guidance, make process and procedure recommendations, track key financial metrics, and provide reports and analyses on key indicators for the Agency. You will be the resource for all things related to ensuring calculations for project costing are accurate.

Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a jack of all trades, someone who will work with everyone in the Agency to get things done. You will assist the Accounting Department with payroll, AP/AR, and client invoicing, you will assist Human Resources with onboarding and offboarding of employees, you will assist the CEO with reports, correspondence, and special projects, you will support the SF Office by ensuring equipment is in good working order and the office is stocked and ready for visitors and you will support Project Teams with any administrative requests. You will communicate with vendors, liaise with the property manager, and help solve problems.
