We currently have the following positions available:
D&A Communications is looking for a Marketing Proposal Writer. This crucial position develops proposals in response to RFP’s from various agencies of the local, state and federal governments. You would be responsible for tracking and researching available RFPs and maintain a good understanding of upcoming work with public agencies. You will analyze RFP/RFQs, develop customized communications scope, tailoring all materials from resumes to project descriptions to firm profiles utilizing valid go/no go processes while managing schedules and production. You will create content and checklists relevant to each proposal and ensure the accuracy and completeness of proposal requirements within established deadlines. You will develop and execute full proposal plans including theme development and compliance.
In this role, the work you do will directly impact the quality of life of those in many different communities. You will be working side by side with clients who value engaging diverse communities in meaningful dialogue. You’ll get the opportunity to develop culturally inclusive integrated communications strategies. You will also work with a smart, supportive team of communication wizards. You will manage project teams, client relationships, coach and mentor junior staff, and ensure quality delivery of our integrated communication plans.
In this leadership role, you will oversee and are responsible for the overall day-to-day accounting functions of the Agency which includes: applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.
In addition to processing payroll and ensuring adherence to local law compliance, the Senior Accounting Manager will make recommendations and suggestions based on current financials and advise the CEO from a business economics standpoint as well as be the direct line of reporting to the CEO. You prepare and send out timely invoices for all client accounts and follow up as needed for timely payment. As part of the Leadership Team, you will provide guidance, make process and procedure recommendations, track key financial metrics, and provide reports and analyses on key indicators for the Agency. You will be the resource for all things related to ensuring calculations for project costing are accurate.
In this exciting role, you will manage client relationships as well as manage projects and project teams ensuring on time and on target delivery of integrated communication plans, utilizing your writing talents daily creating stories, pitches, press releases and more. You are a communications expert, critical thinker and project manager maven who enjoys working with clients and on projects that make a difference in our community. Experience working with government agencies as well as within a PR or Marketing Agency is strongly preferred.
In this exciting role, you get your feet wet in the world of PR project management. You are an integral part of project teams that develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for clients. You work closely with project managers learning how to monitor budgets, contracts and timelines. You produce creative and strategic content for public outreach campaigns, conduct media monitoring and manage agency databases for stakeholder engagement. You are proactive, organized, love to write and can multitask like nobody’s business.
We are looking for a jack of all trades, someone who will work with everyone in the Agency to get things done. You will assist the Accounting Department with payroll, AP/AR, and client invoicing, you will assist Human Resources with onboarding and offboarding of employees, you will assist the CEO with reports, correspondence, and special projects, you will support the SF Office by ensuring equipment is in good working order and the office is stocked and ready for visitors and you will support Project Teams with any administrative requests. You will communicate with vendors, liaise with the property manager, and help solve problems.
